Jivah Philosophy

People shouldn’t have to leave their hometown to live better

Jivah develops thoughtfully designed residential communities in emerging growth markets — West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
A Jivah neighbourhood

Another possibility

Jivah is building another possibility. We develop thoughtfully planned residential communities across West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha — so people do not have to leave their hometown to enjoy a better quality of life.

Our projects bring together well-designed homes, open spaces, modern amenities and everyday convenience—so families can upgrade their lifestyle while staying connected to where they belong.

What we will not build

Everyday before spectacle. If it does not make a family Tuesday easier, it does not belong in the budget.

How we build

We start with how people already live in a city, then draw the ground floor, the garden and the apartment around that sequence. Retail is leased to operators who serve residents first. RERA numbers, timelines and prices are published. Urgency is not a strategy.

Leadership

Meera Kulkarni

Founder & Managing Director

A developer’s daughter who left the metro model behind — Meera started Jivah to prove that emerging cities deserve finished neighbourhoods, not leftover planning.

Arjun Deshpande

Head of Design

Architect. Obsessed with kitchens, shade and the width of a corridor. Holds the line between what looks good in a render and what works in April heat.

Sana Qureshi

Head of Customer Experience

The person who reads every site-visit note. Builds the homebuyer path so first-time buyers are never the last to understand the paperwork.

Values

01.

Stay where you belong

Better homes should not require a better city. We build in the places people already call home.

02.

Everyday before spectacle

A grocer beats a unused ballroom. We spend the budget on the Tuesday, not the brochure.

03.

Family is a brief

Children, elders, pets and shift workers are not edge cases. They are the people we draw for.

04.

Clarity over urgency

RERA numbers, timelines and prices are published. If it cannot be said slowly, it should not be said.

05.

Vastu-aware planning

Orientation, light and ventilation planned for how families actually live — not sticker claims on a brochure.

06.

Open space by design

Lawns, walkways and play areas are drawn first. We do not fill a site and call the gaps green.

07.

Mixed-use downstairs

Grocer, pharmacy and clinic on the ground floor — leased to operators who serve residents first.

08.

Quality that lasts

Structure, waterproofing and common areas built for daily use — occupied buildings keep their value.
